Jason is an adult oriented game that revolves around a character moving to a city and embarking on a chapter, in life. While this premise may seem familiar in the realm of adult games there’s something about this one that resonated with me. What caught my attention is the fact that despite being, from completion the current build of the game only takes an hour or so to play through. Nevertheless I found myself genuinely enjoying what I experienced much that I kept revisiting it in hopes of finding updates.

Alright I must admit that the reference there might be a bit of a stretch. I still believe it somehow fits. The story revolves around our character named Jason, who happens to be, in his mid 20s and has recently relocated to a place. Hes all set to embark on a journey, by joining the newspaper called The Daily Gazette. It’s more of a slice of life kind of tale where Jason interacts with three characters while trying to get to know them better and navigate through the rollercoaster ride we call life.

Ointment For That Slow Burn

Although the gameplay, in Jasons build that I played was limited I found the unfolding story quite appealing. Unlike games that offer gratification with scenes this one takes a slow burn approach. The prologue may be a bit sluggish and uneventful so if you’re not fond of that style it might not pull you in away. However if you enjoy world building and well developed characters you’ll appreciate this game. It’s evident that the developer has a vision for where the story’s headed. If you’re familiar, with visual novel games you’ll feel at home here as there are multiple routes and characters to explore.

JASON A Sneak Peek!

While Jason doesn’t contain an amount of content there is enough to maintain your interest particularly regarding the games visuals. It has a style that allows us to observe attractive characters dressed in revealing and form fitting attire. The camera angles employed are cleverly chosen, providing a teasing effect. I appreciate how the game portrays each character distinctively. In experiences, with games I’ve noticed that the characters often share a somewhat identical appearance but that isn’t the situation, in this case.

Jasons offering seems to be going far. I understand that the games slow pace and absence of content might deter some people from giving it a chance. However if you enjoy engaging stories, with characters I believe you might find yourself drawn into this one. Personally I’ve already developed an attachment to the character Lexie. I’m curious to see how her relationship, with Jason will unfold.

I appreciate the slice of life approach that they have adopted in this narrative.
Lexie is a character whom I’m genuinely fond of, at this juncture.
The story offers paths for readers to explore and experience.
